And then past the Statue of Liberty.
Admittedly I didn't but it's nice to start the album this way ;-)
After having a sightseeing around in Manhattan by car the day I arrived, the first place we spent our day (the day after) was in the Bronx Zoo.
We saw dangerous animals... (I wasn't allowed to stretch out to get a better picture of the tiger - they can jump real high from stand still.)
...and less dangerous animals.
Even some small, curious monkeys...
...especially when they had something fresh to set their teeth in.
Oh, by the way, "we" this time is not Robin and me.
It's Holly...
...her Mother Sarah, and me.

But even days here don't last forever, so we went back home.
The day after we spent some time at Manhattan in the sunshine. That's when I took the two pictures at the top, really. But I also spent some time in Bronx itself, were I stayed (with the family.) I don't have any (exciting) pictures from there, tho.
